Brother Wael Mirza, Head of the Syria Branch and member of the Executive Committee of the Assyrian Democratic Party, affirmed that the genuine representation of the Assyrian and Armenian components in the elections of the Syrian People’s Assembly in the Hasakah Governorate must be consistent with their historical and national presence, away from any reduction or marginalization that does not reflect the reality of the diversity that characterizes the Syrian Jazira region.

He pointed out that ensuring fair and balanced participation for all ethnic and religious components forms the foundation for strengthening trust in the political process and consolidating the principle of national partnership during this sensitive stage the country is going through.
